Our Adriatic tour runs from 11th to 25th of September and is a great way to end what is undeniably a very tough year for many so let us give you a little more information about what to expect on the trip.
We meet at folkestone on the afternoon/evening of the 11th for a tour briefing where we go over a few details to keep us smiling which includes details of our ‘fine rider trophy’ which we present to the winner at the end of the tour.
The following day we cross the channel and ride to Germany. From here we ride down through the Black Forest then head east towards the GrossGlockner riding south over this stunning road and into Italy and then straight down to Croatia. We then have 5 days in Croatia all totalled (2 nights in Dubrovnik) broken up with a visit to Kotor
Montenegro and Mostar in ‘Bosnia and Herzegovina’.
On our return we stop off in the Dolomites - Cortina then riding west and riding a handful of twisty alpine roads before heading north over the Timmelsjoch and stopping in to the Top Mountain Motorcycle Museum before a stop in Lichtenstein, dash across the Black Forest and back to the UK via Luxembourg.
We have designed this tour to get the most of the stunning Adriatic - We ride south and north on the same stunning coast with good reason, these are arguably the some of the best roads in the world! This means we have some more progressive riding nearer to the UK to get us to the good stuff! On our way home we also take time to head in to ‘Bosnia and Herzegovina’ and stop at Mostar to walk over the famous Mostar Bridge enjoying lunch near this iconic image from the Bosnia War.
We so many tempting stops along the coast we may need quick access to a towel and swimming costume as the waters are incredibly tempting!
It is hard to imagine a more tranquil setting for a motorcycle journey.
Our rides to and from Croatia involve riding two iconic Austrian high alpine roads, the Grossglockner and the Timmelsjoch.
One day we are winding a path of silky smooth tarmac with stunning coastline the next we are climbing through mountain switchbacks. Well its only fair we find something to ease the transition between those contrasting environments, so a day in the Dolomites and stopover in Cortina is on the cards.
After tackling the Timmelsjoch and stopping in to see the Top Mountain Motorcycle Museum, recently re-opened after a devastating fire in January 2021 we head towards Blighty and back across the Black Forest and on to Luxembourg City and our city centre hotel.

To ensure that all stress in removed, tolls, péage and vignettes are all included in the price - each rider has their own tag to lift the barrier at the toll roads and vignette stickers are supplied at the tour briefing. For 2022 we also supply each rider and pillion with a pair of Oxford AA bike jeans along with a unique Moto Ventura Tour T-shirt.
