One of the most incredible roads in Europe, in 14 days we take you from the UK, through the Black Forest and over the staggering Grossglockner High Alpine Road in Austria and down to Croatia where we enjoy the majestic roads of the Adriatic Coast. Once ridden, forever smitten.
After a day off the bikes relaxing in Dubrovnik at our city centre 4-star hotel, we return home via the iconic Mostar Bridge in ‘Bosnia and Herzegovina’, the Dolomites and Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road.

The first of our major high alpine passes we ride the Grossglockner south early in the tour to get us to our ultimate goal. Well, as we are nearby it would be rude not to!

Sunday 11th September - We meet the day before crossing the English Channel in a luxury 4 star Hotel located 20 minutes ride from the Channel Tunnel. This gives you a chance to meet your Moto Ventura team along with your fellow riders. During the evening we will provide a ‘Tour Briefing’ which will include a closer look at the itinerary what you can look forward to during your time with us.

Monday 12th September - We grab an early breakfast and head off across the Channel. Our first day is used to make significant progress and we ride from Calais to our Hotel at the top of the Black Forest in Baden Baden. With ample stops for breaks, this big first day ensures we get to the ‘good stuff’ early.
Tuesday 13th September - The ‘Warm Up’ starts here. We ride down through the Black Forest, on the amazing B500 making the most of the smooth ribbons of tarmac with lush scenery before settling in at our fantastic ‘country retreat’ hotel on the shores of Lake Constance.
Wednesday 14th September - After the warm-up, some progress to get us nearer to our ultimate destination so we make some miles up today while remaining among beautiful scenic roads. Not too taxing, but certainly mile-munching.

Thursday 15th September - We travel south over the mighty Grossglockner High Alpine Pass, a beautiful and serene high alpine pass and, at 2571 metres, coffee at the Edelweissspitze, with views that you have to see to believe. Continuing south we make good progress into and through Slovenia as tonight will be our first night in Croatia where our luxury hotel awaits us on the Adriatic Coast at Opatija.

Friday 16th September - Oh that Adriatic Coast! Today you find out why this area rates so highly on our ’must-rides’ and we start the first of 5 days riding on the Adriatic Coast. There really are no words to describe how beautiful this route is and as it sweeps along the coast you will be in awe at the landscape as it unfolds in front of you.

Saturday 17th September - More stunning coast and some beach stops for coffee and lunch eventually leading us to Dubrovnik. Our 4-star city centre hotel awaits us where we will spend two nights.
​
Sunday 18th September - Dubrovnik and a day off the bikes allowing, if you can break yourself away from the stunning 4-star hotel, the chance to explore this stunning city and the walled historic old city within. Walk the city wall, take in the old streets and enjoy some very fine dining.

Monday 19th September - We say bye-bye to Dubrovnik and treat ourselves to another run along the coast to Split but not before diving into ‘Bosnia and Herzegovina’ for a spot of lunch by the famous Mostar Bridge. A symbol of the Bosnia War, this bridge attracts divers who, when paid enough, perform breathtaking leaps in to the river below. With many reminders of the Bosnia war this day is thought provoking but beautiful.
Tuesday 20th September - Continuing north, absorbing the Adriatic Coast in to our souls, we make the most of our last big day on this gorgeous coast line. We take our time so you can fully appreciate the roads and surroundings.

Wednesday 21st September - Leaving our 4-star hotel, our indoor and outdoor pools and spa we head back through Slovenia and into Italy and to the heart of the Dolomites where our hotel features as a historic landmark in Cortina. While the scenery changes dramatically from the Croatian coast, it is equal in its magnitude and beauty. You will be smitten.

Thursday 22nd September - From our hotel in Cortina we ride west through more glorious Dolomites before descending the Jaufen and crossing into Austria over the Timmelsjoch. This road is a real eye-opener and a number of modern art sculptures adorn the route. At the end of this fabulous road is the Top Mountain Motorcycle Museum. Only opened in 2016 it was devastated by fire in 2020 while housing some of the worlds rarest and most priceless motorcycles. With reconstruction rapidly underway we hope we can revisit this Pheonix from the flames when we pass for this tour in 2022. We will keep you updated with news of progress. We end the day in our modern hotel nestled in beautiful Liechtenstein.

Friday 23rd September - As we head back to Blighty we cross the Black Forest briefly for one last tease of the twisties before making progress towards the UK.
​
Saturday 24th September - More progress rewarded with a night in Luxembourg and our hotel allowing access to the city centre and its restaurants after just a brief walk, once we have had our tour 'debrief' and presentation of course.
​
Sunday 25th September - Our final day together and we head to the Channel Tunnel Calais for our crossing back to the UK.
