Our hotel is located a short ride from the infamous birthday gift that the Nazi Party presented to Adolf to celebrate his 50th birthday. We hop on the special Eagles Nest (Kehlsteinhaus) bus and take a ride up for a casual bimble around one of the most iconic locations from WW2. Whether you choose to take the 'gold plated' lift (Well, recreated as gold for modern times) or walk up the footpath, we build up an appetite which is dealt with swiftly by the restaurant located in the main hall. We enjoy a coffee and cake at Adolf's before heading back down to the bikes then riding south on stunning twisties to our hotel nestled on the northern side of the Grossglocker High Alpine Road.

Evening meal included.

Approximate mileage - 85. Riding time - 2 hrs 30 mins.

12th July - GrossGlocker to Cortina d’Ampezzo - Unfinished business! Today we ride over the Grossglockner High Alpine Pass. Sadly on our as on the last visit to this majestic route, we were turned back at the toll booth due to torrential rain and forced to take an alternative route south. July we return to this Holy Grail of motorcycle roads. High - Twisty - Wide - and an amazing road surface. All we really need is a stunning couple of spots to sit and take in the 'view with a brew'. Wait, we visit the highest point on the Grossglockner for coffee, the Edelweisshutte. Along with a visit to the glacier, this road is one of legends! After descending the southern slopes we cross the border into Italy and continue to the Dolomites and to Cortina d'Ampezzo.

Evening meal included.

Approximate mileage - 175. Riding time - 4 hrs 35 mins.

13th July - Cortina d’Ampezzo to St Leonard. A day of Dolomite delights. We ride some of the most infamous roads in the Dolomites - The Dolomites possesses a unique style of rugged terrain not found elsewhere. The day of rammed full of gobsmacking backdrops and amazing routes! More twists than a Guy Ritchie film and a planned route that resembles a plate of spaghetti. Those tyres are going to lose anything that remains of the chicken strips.

Evening meal included.

Approximate mileage - 136. Riding time - 4 hrs 30 mins.

14th July - St Leonard to Vaduz, Lichtenstein. North into Austria from Italy over the Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road and yes, that means a brunch (or just a drink if you prefer)  at the amazing Phoenix from the flames, Top Mountain Motorcycle Museum. Destroyed by fire in 2021, yet rebuilt within 12 months, the chance for a wander around the bikes should not be missed. For those who have never been, this place is epic! For those that have - Well you know what to expect. After this early visit to the museum we enjoy some sedate alpine riding on the way to the 4th smallest country in Europe, Lichtenstein.

Evening meal included.

Approximate mileage - 162. Riding time - 4 hrs 20 mins.
