Reflective Underwear and the Kitchen Sink.

If you ask 20 different riders to list what each recommend packing on a bike for a tour you'll get some very different opinions. Everybody has that vital 'must have' or 'cannot live without' for the 'what if' and the 'just in case' so it is hard to research what you do and do not need.

Firstly take some comfort in the thought that many riders will all agree on the vast majority of stuff or have a contingency in place should they need something that they don't carry i.e. they can buy it if they need it!

Well that's ok if you are sticking close to civilisation but if you are a doing a 'Round The World Trip' then you have to scrutinise every little item. If that is the case, I'll point you towards Nick Sanders for some friendly advice.

If however, you are planning a route somewhere you can still buy stamps, postcards and find a post box to pop it all into then we provide a handy 'guide' for you to use filled with some useful considerations. We give you the 'must haves' with the 'handy to haves' along with some useful hints and tips to help you stay on the good side of the law should you have to deal with any of those fine boys and girls in blue.

This guide is included as a hard copy for those who ride with us as part of your tour pack but due to a few requests we have decided to make this available for everyone.

Remember, it is a guide and won't be perfect for everyone but it is a good starting point. If you feel there is something we are missing in the guide, by all means drop us a line so we can add it in.

Happy touring!!
